Strolling from room-to-room in the gallery, you see his admiration and study of many of the great Impressionist painters, including Van Gogh and Matisse. Vavrina's use of bright colors, and bold lines, bring light into his canvases.

In February, 2010,Laurel Art Gallery and Foundation present "Vavrina Lights Up The World" ,during  the Edison Celebration events, with special shows on Friday 12th, from 4-7pm, Saturday 13th, 11-4pm and Sunday 14th, 1-4pm.Come join us for refreshments and a "feast for the eyes" at our World Plaza Office Park location.

Vavrina died on June 9, 2009.  His wife, Mary, is continuing his commitment to art through the Laurel Fine Arts Foundation.  The Foundation supports art  with scholarships at Edison State College, as well as with activities at the foundation headquarters..
